Fact: In the U.S., over a billion toothbrushes are discarded into landfills every year. That’s enough to circle the earth 4 times! Plastic tooth brushes are one of the sneakiest, and most prevalent, land-fill items. Because they are made from various combinations of non-biodegradable materials, they take over 400 years to decompose. Each of us will use roughly 300 toothbrushes in our lifetime.
This toothbrush has an organic bamboo handle, soft plant-based bristles made from a USA vegetable oil base, and are packed in plant-based "cardboard".
Tip: When you are finished with the toothbrush, cut off the bristles and compost the handle! OR, you can use it as a plater label
